Isa Salazar grew up between a city life in Washington, DC, and a country life in Augusta, West Virginia with her four siblings and parents. Isa first discovered her passion for visual arts as a teenager and in college, where she studied darkroom photography and printmaking. She began designing stationery as a way to translate patterns seen in nature, and as an outlet away from the camera. As an avid letter and post card writer throughout her life, creating stationery was a natural fit. Isa draws inspiration largely from nature, but also from her surroundings in the city. She uses eco-friendly papers and her production is all done in the U.S.
